The F1MB and F1MBY are controllers for 8" or 5.25" floppy disk drives. Additionally, the F1MB contains a system operator panel interface. The disk controller is built around a Signetics N8X300 microcontroller and N8X330 floppy drive formatter/controller. The control program is contained in two N82S181 1K x 8 ROMs.
